About the Veterans Park
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Thanks to River Chase Veteran’s Association (RCVA) and other community members, River Chase is fortunate to have an amazing Veteran’s Park that was fully funded through the generous donations of RCVA members and other patriots.

Our Story
River Chase’s Veteran’s Park features eight limestone monuments, each with a beautiful bronze plaque recognizing America’s military during numerous conflicts since our country’s founding. Each plaque summarizes details of the war and includes an embossed picture that serves as a visual reminder of the conflict.

The Park was dedicated on Memorial Day Weekend, 2022 with a ceremony featuring Lieutenant General (Retired) Rick Lynch as the guest speaker. The RCVA Veterans Garden has become another amazing asset to the River Chase neighborhood is frequently visited by River Chase residents, family and friends.

An additional phase of The Park is currently underway. Smaller bronze plaques with stone bases are being donated that provide specific details of a unit, school, battle, or other significant event in which our military was involved. Memorial/tribute benches are placed throughout both the Garden and Park.
